An evening you won't want to miss. Please bring friends and family to a night of music put on by the Richmond Historical Society.
One of Burlington"s hottest new funk bands, Soul Porpoise, will be performing a two set concert on the base of the Round Church Lawn.
Soul Porpoise lays down organ driven funk and soul inspired by artists such as as Stevie Wonder, Dr. John, and Herbie Hancock. Collin Cope's gritty vocals have been compared to Joe Cocker and breathe fire into Ira Friedman's heartfelt original songs. This soul drenched band will move your body with craft songs and airtight grooves.
There will be parking available on site and overflow cars can park in the town designated lots. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at a very reasonable cost. Bring blankets or chairs, dancing shoes and smiling faces. We do ask for you to leave adult beverages and furry friends at home.
This event is free and encouraged for all ages to join. Donations to the Richmond Historical Society will be gladly accepted at the entrance gates and throughout the evening. Any proceeds from this evening will help in the upkeep of the Round Church so our community can enjoy it for generations to come.
Gates will open at 4:30 pm music starts @5 and we will be closing down around 7:30.
Please come MAKE history with the Richmond Historical Society.
