Cornwall Rocks!

Past event
Mar 22, 2022, 7 to 8 PM

Join the Cornwall Conservation Commission on Tuesday for a zoom presentation by Middlebury College Professor Will Amidon titled "Cornwall Rocks! Exploring Cornwall's Landscape and Geology."

The geological story of Addison County shows in its scraped mountainsides, rich alluvial valley land with glacial till and huge boulders, and rivers and streams that flow northward following the glacier's long-ago retreat. Amidon will trace the geological forces that created the Champlain Valley and are still very evident in the special landforms of one valley town.
