When I feel i can't make a difference, I come together with our fabulous valley community.
This Saturday (March 19th) I hope you join me at the Waitsfield United Church of Christ for a workshop at 3 PM.
We have the supplies and will show you how to make a beautiful 5-6' tall "Sapling Staff for Ukraine", with an abundance of yellow blue & white "silk" flowers and Ukrainian blue and yellow ribbon streamers.
Bring a pair of scissors and your support for Ukraine.
We have 11 spots left in this workshop and we need you!
Can't make it? Can you make a donation to defray our costs? Although we did a great job of hitting the dollar stores and using coupons at Joanne's, the cost is quite large.
Bring your kids and come make a beautiful sapling staff that will show your support for the unwavering resilience of the Ukrainian people.
At 4 O'Clock there will be a Vigil in support of Ukraine in front of the church. These Staffs will make a large visual impact. Come stand with us. If it is pouring rain you may decide to leave your staff inside and save it for future vigils.
