Dear Neighbors,

There has been a lot of discussion on several FPF forums about a recent proposal brought forward by a city councilor to allow camping on municipal lands, including parks. The proposed ordinance was referred to the Community Development and Neighborhood Revitalization (or CDNR) Committee and that committee is meeting TOMORROW EVENING from 5 to 7pm.

Tomorrow's agenda will include a discussion of Montpelier Encampment Response Policy from Cameron Neidermayer who is the Assistant City Manager in Montpelier. The committee has also invited Paul Dragon, of CVOEO and Ken Russell, Executive Director of Another Way in Montpelier to speak.

The meeting will include a public forum with ample time for any community member to be heard on this issue.
