Two Valley Stage Concerts
Valley Stage Productions is pleased to announce two concerts upcoming in the next week. Our "P.M. Sundays" concert series continues on March 13 with the premier performance by "Kalos" beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the Richmond Congregational Church at 20 Church St. in Richmond. (https://www.valleystage.net/kalos-3-13-22/) Doors are at 3:30 p.m. The trio are masters of traditional music with roots in New England and British Isles origins. Guitar, fiddle, accordion and vocals combine for a wonderful mix of recognizable melodies and original influences that will take the audience to new sounds and landscapes.

On Wednesday, March 16 we'll be presenting a "Special Event" concert with Michigander Laurel Premo formerly of one of our favorite duos; "Red Tail Ring". (https://www.valleystage.net/laurel-premo-3-16-22-700-pm) Laurel is known for her rhythmically deep and rapt delivery of roots music on fiddle, guitar, and vocals. Her solo performances dive deep into traditional and new fiddle music, musically revealing a bloom of underlying harmonic drones, minimalist repetition, and rich polyrhythms. Presenting these sounds on finger style electric guitar and fiddle, Premo fully leans in to the archaic melodies and in-between intonations that connect folk sounds to the mystic and unknown.

OUR COVID PROTOCOL is that we will require all staff, performers, and patrons to show proof of COVID-19 vaccine when they work or attend performances. Patrons will be asked to show their vaccination card or a photo of their vaccination card when they enter the church. A negative Covid test result within 72 hours of the concert will also be acceptable. All of our events will be "Mask-On" for the forseeable future. We will also make the effort to space patrons safely within the pews.

Tickets are $22 in advance and $25 day of show. Seniors (65+) and children 16 and under are $15. For more information or to buy advance tickets please contact Don Sheldon at don@valleystage.net or by calling 802-434-4563.
