Please join us for the first of two public meetings on Wednesday March 16 at 5:30 pm in the Lower Theater of the Bellows Falls Opera House for an engagement session on the approximately 50 project proposals for Rockingham, Saxtons River and Bellows Falls ARPA funds. ARPA is the American Rescue Plan Act, federal funds given to each municipality.

Food and Child Care will be Provided at 5:00 PM, Please RSVP for Food /Childcare .

Each participant will get a copy of the List of Proposed Projects with a QR code to slido.com to participate in real time surveys during the meeting.

Camoin Associates will organize and present the projects in a framework of the Community Visions and Goals set by the Take Action Rockingham Meetings in 2020. Camoin will facilitate discussions help align and prioritize our projects with the Vision and Goals.

Participants will have a chance to submit projects through March 23- all are welcome.

The decision for allocation of ARPA funds will be up to the Boards: Saxtons River Village Trustees, The Bellows Falls Village Trustees and Rockingham Select Board, and, they will have an organized report on the outcomes of this public engagement process so they can easily incorporate community wide input.

ARPA funds must be obligated by December 31, 2024 and expended by December 31, 2026.

Zoom will be available with limited participation, no hybrid discussion will take place, but there may be an opportunity for small breakout group discussion on ZOOM while the in-person meeting breaks into small group discussion. Folks on ZOOM will be able to participate in voting through the online survey, available by pc or smartphone through Slido.com (ZOOM link will be available in a later post and on rockinghamvt.org)
