The second installment of the 2021-22 Property Taxes are due March 15, 2022. Check payments may be placed in the payment drop boxes at either the Village office, 2 Lincoln Street, or the Town office, 81 Main Street. In-person payments are accepted at the Town office, 81 Main Street. For questions about the tax bill, or if you need a copy of your bill, please email clerk@essex.org. Payments received or postmarked after the due date are considered delinquent and will be charged an 8% penalty immediately. 1% interest will be charged the 15th of each month thereafter.

Online payments via credit cards (2.65% convenience fee), debit cards (1.5% convenience fee) and Echecks ($1.95 flat fee) are available under "Payments" at www.essexvt.org. Paypal and Venmo payments are also available (choose Online Payments - Village of Essex).
