History buffs, tapophiles, and caring stewards of family cemetery plots, we welcome you to this FREE workshop to be held at The Village Cemetery, 32-36 Main Street, Essex Junction on May 14th from 8am-3pm.

Vermont Old Cemetery Association (VOCA) has generously offered to teach you the safest and best way to clean and repair cemetery headstones. Please join us to learn the process and get some hands-on experience.

The Essex Community Historical Society will also be on site to share a historical perspective about the Village Cemetery, whose oldest stones date back to the 1700's.

Please bring a lunch, water and a pair of work gloves. A lawn chair might also be desired.
