Republicans host here an expert on the topic of VT legislative threats to fuel costs, on March 14

The public is welcome to attend a "Vermont concerns about proposed clean energy standards" briefing at 7:00 p.m. in the wheelchair-accessible Community Room at Ilsley Public Library in Middlebury on the evening of Monday, March 14, 2022. Admission is free.

The event is hosted by the Addison County Republicans downstairs in the library building at 75 Main Street in Middlebury. The expert speaker, to be introduced by Rep. Harvey Smith, is Matt Cota, executive director of the Vermont Fuel Dealers Association. Controversial proposed new "clean energy standards" are now proceeding through the Vermont state legislative process. These legal changes would profoundly impact all Vermonters.

Parking is behind the library, as is the ramped entrance to the Community Room. The best vehicular approach to the back of the library is to drive west on Cross Street and take the right turn into the parking area just before the traffic circle.
