This week our supper club is for Ukraine: we're fundraising for the World Central Kitchen to provide food security to those who need it.

We've all seen the headlines and heard the news - the people of Ukraine are in crisis. It was imperative that we use our platform, small as it may be, to bring people together and help support those in need right now.

Refugees are flooding across the border of Poland and other neighboring countries; families had to make the decision to leave in an impossibly short amount of time, and often have very little with them. While we can't feed those fleeing this horrific situation, the World Central Kitchen can - so we're donating $35 from each dinner to support this organization providing food security to those in need.

Founded in 2010 by Chef José Andrés, World Central Kitchen (WCK) is first to the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises while working to build resilient food systems with locally-led solutions. WCK has served more than 60 million fresh meals to people impacted by natural disasters and other crises around the world.

The menu that we've put together is intended to be an homage to the food & culture of the Ukrainian people. We pay our deepest respect through sharing a vision of food, and feeding those we love.

Included this week will be:
- Cucumber & Tomato Salad w/ Sour Cream, Scallions, Dill
- Corn Porridge "Banosh" w/ Pork Cracklings, Crispy Mushroom & Sour Cream
- Buckwheat & Rice Filled Cabbage Leaves "Holubtsi" Braised in Tomato & Dill
- Smoked Beet & Pork Sausage "Bigos" & Sauerkraut Stew w/ Potato & Caraway Filled "Varennyky"
- Kyiv Torte w/ Hazelnuts, Tart Cherries, Meringue, Chocolate

A pre-order form is live on our website now: each dinner feeds two, and costs $65; $35 of each dinner will be donated to the WCK. These suppers will be available for pickup on Saturday, March 12th, from 5-7pm.
