This week's OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) program will feature Susan Bettmann talking about her series of documentaries about Vermonters. She will show the film "Joe Picard: Man of the Land." Joe is a woodsman who cares for his Middlesex land throughout the seasons. Influenced by his Native American and French-Canadian roots, Joe's knowledge of the land goes back many generations and shows us a way of life that is fast disappearing.
Many of you will recognize Sue as the videographer who most often records our programs for ORCA (Onion River Community Access). This week she will be at the front of the room instead of the back! Check out orcamedia.net for our video of our Wednesday programs as they are put up.
