A team from Johnson has been working with the state as part of a pilot program to write an addendum to the Tree Warden Statutes that will protect shade trees. Our plan is done and we'd like to share it with the public.

There will be a public meeting at the municipal building on Thursday, March 17, at 6:00 for that purpose. If you have tree warden or tree law questions, this will be the place to get answers. A representative from the state and the plan team, Tree Warden Noel Dodge, Lois Frey, Lauren Huang-Finkleman, and Sue Lovering will be there.
