Vermont Symphony Orchestra Jukebox Quartet

The Vermont Symphony Orchestra's Jukebox Quartet will perform at the Charles Hosmer Morse Center for the Arts on March 12 at 7:30 pm, joined by a talented young string quartet from St. Johnsbury Academy, who will start their performance at 7:00 pm. Tickets start at $10 and are available on a sliding scale at https://www.vso.org/.

Jukebox programs allow four outstanding members of the VSO a chance to strut their stuff with an eclectic mix of contemporary and classical repertoire presented in an informal format.

The concert will include:
Opening from Glassworks by Philip Glass
Duo for Violin and Cello by Jessie Montgomery
Boris Kerner by Caroline Shaw
Slide Rule by Jeanne Woodbury and Josh Gottry
Hammers by Andy Akiho

Young string quartet members include Hale Boyden, Aurora Gilbert, Aniella Thompson, Maaike Dam (violin) and Greer Kennedy, Mary Fowler (viola).
