Dear Friends in Christ,
As we continue to experience the unexpected in our lives; the pandemic, varied extremes of winter weather, and the instability caused by the war between Russia and Ukraine, among other personal turbulence you may be enduring, we seek the stability of our faith in God and the promises we cling to. There may be no better time to enter into the Lenten Season and our Journey of Faith to the Cross and Tomb. Each year we are blessed to find peace, comfort, assurance and hope in the truth of Jesus Christ and his remarkable sacrifice for our lives. Are you looking for Solid Ground to provide a Sure Foundation while the world seems to waver? Look no further than God's steadfast love, Jesus' gift of redemption and the encouragement you can find in the unity of believers.
To start your Lenten Journey, your friends of the East Craftsbury Presbyterian Church and the United Church of Craftsbury invite you to join us for this year's Ash Wednesday Service Wednesday, March 2nd at 6:00pm. Pastors Lawrence Jones and Kim Larose will lead a worship of prayer, meditation and song. You have the choice to worship with us in person at the ECPC or you can use this link to join the live stream version at 6:00pm or watch the recording later at your convenience. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=east+craftsbury+presbyterian+church
We hope you will choose to seek and find God during your Lenten Journey this year. To help you in your worship, once again the UCC has published our annual Lenten Guide. You can pick up copies just inside the side door of the church on the common. If you don't find any, come back soon, we'll be printing more to keep up with the demand. God bless your Lenten Season.
Peace and Love,
Pastor Kim
