The conservation easement on the Stranahan Forest requires a management plan, to be updated periodically, with public input. The Stranahan Forest management plan was originally adopted in 2010, and updated in 2016. The Marshfield Selectboard will discuss and vote on this management plan at a later date, following our March 22 meeting; only the Selectboard has the authority to adopt the plan.

The links to these documents will also be posted on our town's website. We will also put a hard copy of the entire draft plan and all of the appendices at the Jaquith Library, if you'd prefer to read it there.
If you don't have specific comments on the plan, but have other input, questions, concerns or ideas about the Stranahan Forest, please reach out to one of the Stranahan Forest Stewardship Committee members: Ellen Cooke, Brett Engstrom, Nancy Everhart, Patrick Pfeifer, Michael Sabourin, Jenny Warshow.
