Craftsbury's transfer station (trash and recycling drop-off) is OPEN this Saturday, Feb 26, from 9a-1pm. As always, be kind to our wonderful attendants and volunteers who work in the cold so we don't have to travel to other towns to dispose of our items!
Craftsbury is scheduled open again 3/6, then closed 3/12, then open 3/19. Thank you, James and team! When we're closed you have nearby options, including Wolcott transfer on Gulf Rd off Wild Branch (Sat and Sun 9-1) and All Metals Recycling on Rt 15 (Mon-Sat).
Our solid waste district continues to seek weekend site attendants. Pick up an application at any location or visit the Employment tab on the website: https://lrswmd.org/about/#staff-information. Hourly rate is $17.
