In celebration of Black excellence, joy and creativity, Cambridge for Social Justice will be collecting and donating books to local libraries for Black History Month. We support an environment that uplifts and celebrates the uniqueness of humanity and believe that access to diverse books is important to enhancing empathy and awareness of others. We will be collecting funds to put towards purchasing books from our local bookstore, Battenkill Books to then be donated. Donations will be accepted through this Saturday, February 26th. In addition, we are collecting books should you choose to purchase on your own. The list below includes requests from our local libraries, hardcover preferred. Libraries to receive donations are Cambridge, Greenwich and North Bennington, VT.
