The White River Craft Center is excited to announce our spring programming!
Basket weaving, photography, printmaking to start and more to be announced soon.

-Printmaking Workshop Series-
Weds, March 9-April 6, 6-9pm (5 Sessions)

In this five week introduction series, participants will look at inspiring examples and try a different printmaking approach each week. Non-toxic Techniques introduced: linoleum and wood block prints, monoprints, collograph prints, drypoint etching.
Participants will receive a block print kit with all the necessary materials. Tools will just need to be returned after the workshop. Paper, linoleum and ink will be kept by the participants.

-Black Ash and Mixed Bark Baskets-
Saturday, March 5, 9am-4pm

Learn the amazing qualities of black ash splints and explore weaving with several different Vermont native barks, all in one workshop! Using black ash as the base, everyone will choose a mix of birch, cedar and willow bark to create their own unique basket.

-Analog Photography in the 21st Century-
Thursdays, March 10-April 7, 6-8pm (5 Sessions)

Learn the fundamentals of traditional black & white photography. This bring-your-own-camera workshop will provide instruction and guidance for both picture-taking and print-making processes, including push-pull processing by hand, stand development, darkroom printing, and a conversational environment for discussing individual images, creative concepts, and long-term projects. Students must supply their own camera capable of shooting 35mm or 120 format film
