Public Informational Meeting - 21 February 2022 at the Fire Station Community Room

The Rutland Regional Planning Commission (RRPC) and the Town of Castleton, in conjunction with the Vermont Agency of Transportation Project Delivery Bureau - Municipal Assistance, are conducting a Scoping Study, Castleton TAP TA 20(2), for pedestrian improvements along Main Street (VT Route 4A) between the Delaware & Hudson Rail Trail trailhead and Sand Hill Road and South Street between Main Street and the Delaware & Hudson Trail.

Based on the input received from the community, alternatives for improvement have been developed. These will be presented at the Alternatives Presentation Meeting to be held on Monday, February 21, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. – 6:55 p.m. at the Castleton Fire Station Community Room, 273 Route 30 North, Bomoseen, VT 05732.

This meeting is intended to give all local residents and interested parties the opportunity to provide feedback on potential improvements and to ensure that the options presented meet the needs identified at the Local Concerns Meeting. Following this meeting, a Preferred Alternative for each intersection will be selected.
