Hold the Dates... Since November 2012, South Burlington has been working to revise the ordinances and regulations that will shape future growth. The idea is to allow community members to determine what the city will become and how it will grow.
This visioning week will continue the process of engaging the community to determine how you want your neighborhoods, schools, shopping, parks and waterfront to fit together. The first piece of this will be Thursday August 22nd, at 7:00 PM at City Hall. This will include a recap of all of the outstanding feedback received at the February visioning week, and unveil the updated Place Map.

The following week, from Monday August 26 to Thursday August 29, the city will host workshops where community members can work through exercises designed to help you articulate your thoughts and desires in specific neighborhoods. Together, these workshops will guide the writing of the new ordinance and street design standards that will shape future development.
