Parade to Celebrate Silver Medalist Ryan Cochran-Siegle

RICHMOND, VT – February 16, 2022 – The Town of Richmond, VT will host a parade to honor Olympic Silver Medalist Ryan Cochran-Siegle. Cochran-Siegle won the silver medal in the men's super-G at the Beijing Olympics. The parade will begin at 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the intersection of Bridge Street and Rt. 2. The parade will travel south on Bridge Street concluding at the Round Church Green. Spectators are encouraged to gather along Bridge St. and at the Round Church Green.

Cochran-Siegle is a member of the Richmond based Cochran family. The family runs the non-profit Cochran's Ski Area in Richmond, Vermont. Many family members have been members of the US Ski Team and competed in the Olympics, including Cochran-Siegle's mother, Barbara Ann Cochran, who won a gold medal in the giant slalom in the 1972 Sapporo Olympics.
