Valley Stage Productions is pleased to announce that the "Joe K. Walsh Trio" (https://www.valleystage.net/joe-k-walsh-2-20-22/) will be our next performers for our "P.M. Sundays" concert series taking place on Sunday, Feb. 20 beginning at 4:00 p.m. The concert will occur at the Richmond Congregational Church at 20 Church St. in Richmond. Doors are at 3:30 p.m.
Roots music isn't made in a vacuum. It's the creation of a community, of a circle of friends, of a teacher and a student. It's something to be passed back and forth to be treasured. As an acclaimed master of American roots music, mandolinist and songwriter Joe K. Walsh knows this better than most. He's toured with countless artists, collaborated with other master musicians like Darol Anger and the Gibson Brothers, founded progressive string band Joy Kills Sorrow in the early 2000s, and is currently on faculty at the prestigious Berklee College of Music.
This will be the 10th time that Valley Stage Productions has presented Joe in one of many different configurations. We feel that strongly about his versatility, performance, presence and ability to hold an audience's attention to host him once again. We also love to hear Joe's laugh.
OUR COVID PROTOCOL is that we will require all staff, performers, and patrons to show proof of COVID-19 vaccine when they work or attend performances. Patrons will be asked to show their vaccination card or a photo of their vaccination card when they enter the church. A negative Covid test result within 72 hours of the concert will also be acceptable. All of our events will be "Mask-On" for the foreseeable future. We will also make the effort to space patrons safely within the pews.
If you are unable to attend the concert in person, it is also being streamed live. (https://sidedooraccess.com/shows/EQHSPMXFRbCXbjlsem1Z)
