The Planning Commission agenda this week includes two topics:
* Continued review of proposed updates to the Charlotte Land Use Regulations. We have completed our review of drafts about telecom and renewable energy facilities, and minor updates to road & driveway standards. This week, we will discuss eliminating a couple restrictions on building multi-family housing.
* Setting priorities and a workplan to take up several implementation plan items from the Town Plan.
This online-only meeting agenda, with Zoom login link, has been posted under the meeting date in the town meeting and agendas calendar, on the town website. Residents are welcome to join the conversation online.
Also FYI, I've created a new page on the town website to display drafts of our proposed amendments, and explain our process and timeline. This can be found at: https://bit.ly/PC_draft_2022_LURs_amendments. There, you can follow along with our work, as content will be updated whenever new drafts are available.
An invitation will be going out soon to various volunteer committees to join us, when our work plans overlap with their areas of interest (e.g. energy planning, town trails, conservation and habitat protection, etc.) If you've got time to be involved in drafting specific plans and problem-solving approaches on these topics, we could use your help!
