Community Restorative Justice Circle

Past event
Feb 16, 2022, 6 to 7 PM

Join us on the third Wednesday of every month at the Winooski Memorial Library for our Community Restorative Justice Circle. Facilitated by Kayla Loving, Restorative Justice Coordinator at Spectrum Youth & Family Services, the circle is one of the most well-known restorative justice practices. Join with others to share a meal, stories, and to talk about what changes you'd like to see in the community.

Our next meeting will be held at the Winooski Memorial Library on Wednesday, February 16th from 6 - 7 PM.

If you have an interest in getting to know your neighbors on a deeper level, learning about restorative justice, and organizing for change in your community, please consider attending. Everyone is welcome and food will be provided. Interpretation can be made available with advance notice.

"Restorative justice is a philosophy and set of practices, rooted in indigenous teachings, that emphasize our interconnection by repairing relationships when harm occurs while proactively building and maintaining relationships to prevent future harm" (Amplify RJ).
