Season 9 continues with the Vermont premier of George Nakashima Woodworker.

George Nakashima, (1905-1990), is one of the world's best known and most influential woodworkers whose search for life's meaning resulted in a new approach to woodworking. His finely crafted furniture designs fall into two categories - his perfected but simple nuanced forms, and his explorations of the endless complexities found inside centuries old trees.

Directed and narrated by nephew John Nakashima, this film lovingly depicts the life story of a fascinating man, his creative process, and his beautiful work.
