Friday, February 18
2:30 PM–3:30 PM

Champlain College's Social Impact Scholar Program invites neighbors to join us for a virtual panel discussion on fair trade, with panelists from Ben & Jerry's, Fair Trade Campaigns/Fair Trade USA, Lutheran World Relief, and Champlain College. The event is part of the Intersections Series, which explores the intersection of social impact with Champlain's academic programs.

Panelists will explore the history and mechanics of fair trade; the benefits of fair trade for producers, businesses/brands, and consumers; how fair trade differs from other certifications; and the relevance of fair trade in today's economy, particularly here in Vermont. Please join and bring your questions!
