Hello everyone -
All Brains Belong VT is holding a neuro-inclusive COVID community vaccination clinic this Saturday 2/12 from 12:30-3:30PM. Advanced registration is required: www.allbrainsbelong.org/protectkids
We all have different brains that learn, think, communicate, and experience the world differently. For some brains, vaccination is a routine activity. For some brains, particularly those who have had overwhelming or stressful healthcare experiences previously, vaccination can be scary or overwhelming. At our clinic, we invite ALL participants to choose from a menu of options to customize their experience in order to make this feel as safe and comfortable as possible.
This is open to all kids 5+ and adults for first, second, or booster vaccinations. We welcome ANYONE who will benefit. No particular "reason" required.
- You can get vaccinated indoors or in your own car
- Choose from a menu of lighting, sound, furniture, and other environmental features
- Choose the communication and stress management strategies that help you feel most comfortable
- Help with needle phobia, healthcare anxiety, and other challenges
