Please join Preservation Burlington for its 2014 Homes Tour Sat., June 7, 12-4 pm.

This year's tour features an eclectic mix of Burlingtons historic homes. Come and tour the recently renovated stone mansion at 309 South Willard Street. You will also want to see the home of renowned interior designer Bev Wool at 362 Saint Paul Street. Bevs decorative talents will also be on display at 16 Isham Street, a former college flophouse that has been reclaimed and converted back to a family residence. With six homes to see from the recent winner of Preservation Burlingtons Historic Preservation Award for residential properties to the oldest remaining structure on Church Street our 2014 Homes Tour has much to offer. You'll take delight in finely decorated interiors, inspiring landscapes, and the ingenious repurposing of the old to meet the demands of modern living.

The tours are self-guided with the help of numerous volunteers from the community. Light refreshments and reception during the tour will be hosted at the Converse Home, 272 Church Street. The Homes Tour is Preservation Burlington's biggest fundraising event. Proceeds from the tour will go towards the organizations many other educational programs. Tickets are available at the Flynn Center Box Office (www.flynntix.org) for $20.

We are also looking for volunteers to assist with the tour. Volunteers will have free admission to the homes for half of the tour. If interested in volunteering, or for more information, email info@preservationburlington.org.
