Municipal elections have lower voter turnout and engagement but the results of these elections have an immediate impact on our communities. The NAACP is therefore having a Get out the Vote day! We will safely canvass door to door to help folx register to vote, and/or assisting folx with their voting plan for the March 1 municipal elections. Voting is the core of our democracy, won't you join us in getting out the vote?! Bring your mask, we will bring hand sanitizer, and all the materials to register people. Meet us at the Main Street park in Rutland at 11 am for some training and direction, and immediately after we will canvass the area.
