We are very excited to announce that Step Up To Childcare begins on March 25th and Registration is Open!

This interesting and important training is designed to assist community members who would like to obtain employment in the broad Early Childhood Education field and begin their career! Step Up To Childcare combines three primary focus areas, phased in and completed over a 12-week period.

• Primed For Success professional skills curriculum facilitated and instructed by experienced staff at Northeast Kingdom Learning Services
• Fundamentals of Childcare, the industry recognized credential, which prepares and allows someone to begin working in Early Childhood Education, and
• An 80-hour Internship, on the job at one of Lamoille county's excellent childcare centers

8 spaces are available and Registration is now open, closes on February 21st with Applicant Interviews planned for March 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Please share and distribute this information throughout the region!
