Past event
Feb 11, 3 PM to 12 PM, Feb 13, 2022

Traditional quilters, where do you go if you want to push the boundaries and step over into art quilting? Come to the Strong House Inn to relax and experiment with alternate ways of working with the skills you already have. We will be PLAYING with traditional blocks and fabric scraps for design manipulations. Michele and Margaret will push you to try things you might never have thought of. Using unexpected fabric choices and layouts, we'll slice the design, expand the design, and generally run amok to create one of a kind art quilts within the limits of traditional quilt blocks that you love and already know how to sew.
This class will mostly entail cutting fabrics, using a glue stick, design, and discussion.
