Another tower has been proposed for Marlboro. The engineering firm that represents American Tower and Verizon Wireless plans to float balloons at the site of the proposed telecommunications tower off of Augur Hole Road. The float is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, May 27 at 9:00 a.m. and last approximately two hours. That firm will take photographs of the balloons, which they will use to simulate the tower's appearance. On Sunday, the engineers will check the weather forecast. If the forecast appears unfavorable, the float will be rescheduled. Any such rescheduling will be announced here.
