This week's special Development Review Board meeting will consider two agenda items:
1) A letter from a neighbor requesting reconsideration of the Zoning Board of Adjustment's Dec. 15, 2021 decision approving conditional use for the Vermont Commons School outdoor campus at 2369 Spear St. Public testimony on this topic will be limited due to the scope of this request. The Board's only decision at this meeting is to determine whether to re-open the ZBA's conditional use approval decision under criteria specified within the Charlotte Land Use Regulations. If the Board agrees to re-open the decision, a public hearing open to all will be scheduled for a later date. If the Board rejects the request, no hearing will be scheduled. More information on this request may be found on the agenda and other documents posted under the meeting date on the town website "Meeting Calendar and Agenda" page.
2) Review & markup of a draft Sketch Plan letter concerning a proposed minor (2-lot) subdivision at 2600 Guinea Rd. Details about the project can be found on the DRB 2021 applications page on the town website, under DRB 21-277-SK Curler. A link is posted to the meeting agenda. No testimony will be taken; this is an open deliberative work session for DRB members.
As always, this DRB meeting is open to the public. You may participate in-person at Town Hall, or via Zoom. The Zoom login appears on the meeting agenda, posted under the meeting date on the town website "Meeting Calendar and Agenda." Contact Rebecca Kaplan at (802) 425-3533 ext. 208 if you have any questions about the agenda.
