The Town and Village of Johnson welcome all ages and walks of life to participate in a week-long Community Scavenger Hunt and Art Walk throughout downtown Johnson starting February 19th that ends with a celebratory community "Skate & Bake" on the 26th from 2-4pm at the Legion Field, located on School Street.
Hot cacao, warm cookies (straight from the community oven), ice skating, sledding, bonfires, and a raffle drawing for all those who participated in the hunt and turned in their completed cards, will round out the festivities.
There will be limited skates and sleds to borrow so please bring your own if you have them, and/or donate your used skates, snowshoes, and sleds for others!
Pick up your scavenger hunt riddle and clues sheets at the following locations: Johnson Municipal Building, Johnson Public Library, and the Studio Store/minėmå gallery, or download and print your own through the Johnson Recreation website: www.johnsonrecreationvt.com The hunt/walk and skating party are entirely outside with a mission to spotlight our beautiful downtown, celebrate our diversity, and build community. Please keep yourself and those around you safe by dressing warmly and masking up when appropriate.
