Essex Art League invites you to a demonstration by Johnson Plein Air Oil Painter Eric Tobin on February 3rd, from 9-11am at the First Congregational Church in Essex Junction. Masks are required. Following a short business meeting, we will watch a demonstration. Most of Tobin's work is done outdoors, regardless of the time of year, difficult setting, or rapidly changing conditions. Tobin can see things he would miss from a photograph. He tries to capture the landscape, the time of day, the season, and the way the light plays on different objects. Tobin strives to paint the feeling of a place. Please join us.
