Join the Franklin Stormwater Collaborative and Friends of Northern Lake Champlain on Wednesday, Feb. 16th at 5:30pm for an informational evening on managing stormwater on your property and in your community. Learn about practices you can implement to slow, spread, sink, and treat the stormwater that runs off your roof or driveway. We'll also discuss how these practices work to prevent flooding and reduce the amount of phosphorus and pollutants that are transported into natural waterways. If you are interested in getting advice on specific stormwater issues where you live, use this link to submit questions and photos beforehand: https://forms.gle/DmcX8kKznsv4UWhZ9
Our speakers include Jillian Sarazen, Green Infrastructure Collaborative Coordinator with the Lake Champlain Sea Grant, and Michele Carlson, owner of Carlson Design & Planning.
