The dedication ceremony for the Hancock Town Green, will take place Monday, May 26 from 9-9:45 a.m. The first memorial bench will be placed on the green before the ceremony. Everyone is invited to attend this event to hear about the history of the town green and future plans, and to see the new plaques and bench. Refreshments will be served.

For the second year in a row, Hancock Town Pride will hand out free sunflowers for residents to plant to meet the group’s goal of beautifying the town. Residents Ross Parker and Denise Chapin donated the seeds, and Jack Ross planted them so the seedlings will be ready to hand out.
