Unpacking Whiteness - a Virtual Discussion

Past event
Feb 16, 2022, 6 to 8 PM

What does it mean to be white in this world and in our community? Join the Mad River Valley Libraries and the Peace & Justice Center to explore questions like this in Unpacking Whiteness, an online workshop on Wednesday February 16th from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Specifically designed for white individuals, this facilitated discussion is an opportunity to process how white supremacy culture is harmful to them. The space created will give white people an opportunity to work towards collective liberation and allow the emotional needs of Black, Indigenous and People of Color to take priority in multi-racial spaces.
