LORENZO WILHITE, WRSB'S NEW CEO AND KIM RUSSELL SASH COORDINATOR WILL BE GUEST SPEAKERS AT WRAP' S FEBRUAY 6TH ANNUAL MEETING.
The Wells River Action Program's (WRAP) annual meeting will again be a virtual meeting in 2022. Kelsey Root-Winchester, WRAP President stated "We had hoped we would be able to go back to an in-person meeting this year, but the Omicron variant of COVID-19 is preventing it" The meeting will be held on February 6, 2022 at 1:00pm and will be held via ZOOM
The meeting will include two guest presentations as well as a short business meeting, election of board members and a brief review of the WRAP Annual Report. Annual reports may be obtained by emailing wrapwr@gmail.com or calling Richard M Roderick at 802-757-2708.
Lorenzo Wilhite the new President and CEO at Wells River Savings Bank, who succeeded retiring longtime CEO Frank Tilghman, will be one of the speakers. Wilhite, 51, who was senior vice president and chief retail officer at Wells River Saving Bank before being promoted to be President and CEO, joined Wells River Savings Bank in 2007 and has 26 years in Community Banking. He assumed his duties on January 1, 2022 and lives in Thetford Center, VT.
Kim Russell, a SASH Coordinator at Rural Edge, a housing and community development corporation will be the other speaker. The SASH (Support and Services at Home) program is available to Wells River residents 65 and older, or with disabilities, The SASH program is offered throughout the State of Vermont and is designed to provide personalized coordinated care to help participants stay at home safely regardless of age or residential setting.
After each speaker there will be an opportunity to ask questions.

The mission of WRAP is to enhance the quality of life in Wells River Village and its immediately surrounding villages and towns by providing affordable and accessible housing, supporting and developing business and economic development, preserving the rural and historic character and ambiance of Wells River Village and establishing avenues of cooperation with other organizations and governmental agencies. Membership in WRAP is open to all who are interested in improving and preserving Wells River Area whether or not they reside in Wells River.
