Craftsbury's transfer station (trash and recycling drop-off) is scheduled to be OPEN this Saturday, Jan. 29 from 9a-1pm. If there's a last-minute staffing challenge, thanks for your patience - they're susceptible to omicron rates like everyone else. If closed we'll do our best to post a sign on the door.
If unexpectedly closed, you have options: Wolcott transfer on Gulf Rd off Wild Branch (Sat and Sun 9-1) and All Metals Recycling on Rt 15 (Mon-Sat).
As always, appreciation goes a long way for our wonderful attendants and volunteers who work in the cold for us!
Our solid waste district continues to seek weekend site attendants to build the staff bench. Pick up an application at any location or visit the Employment tab on the website: https://lrswmd.org/about/#staff-information. Hourly rate is $17.
