Thursday morning on Central Vermont Community Radio: Crowdfunded lending for businesses comes to Vermont, and we continue checking in with local libraries.
9:00 - 10:00 am
The Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation was recently approved to be the first Vermont KIVA trustee, and they will help small businesses in their service area with this crowdfunding model that lends money at 0% interest. Those outside of the Brattleboro region may wish to ask their local community development corporation about adopting the model. All are welcome to an online introduction to KIVA Thursday at 4 pm that BDCC is hosting. Our guest, Eyad Salha, has business experience in Lebanon (the country), Saudi Arabia, and the US.

And we'll continue checking in with local librarians about what they're offering during the pandemic. This week we'll talk with Susan Green of Jaquith Public Library in Marshfield.
