Cabot's volunteer Fire Department holds a fundraising pancake breakfast the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend every year, and I was just reminded of this fact by the sandwich board I saw today! I'm not affiliated with the department (except by my appreciation of all they do), but wanted to help spread the word. It will be this Sunday (May 25) from 7-11 in the school cafeteria. They always have *really* good pancakes, with local maple syrup (of course), plus sausages, bacon, eggs, coffee, and juice, and it's all you can eat for only $5 (at least, that's been the price for many years). Definitely the best deal anywhere, and you'll be supporting some wonderful volunteer firefighters (this is their only fundraiser all year), plus you get to join a bunch of your neighbors for breakfast!
