Moving Mountains: GMC Hosts Virtual Speaker Kara Richardson Whitely

Join the Green Mountain Club for a virtual conversation about adventure, resilience, and banishing self-doubt with speaker and author Kara Richardson Whitely. Kara is the author of "Gorge: My Journey Up Kilimanjaro at 300 Pounds," which is being made into a movie starring This Is Us actress Chrissy Metz. She hiked 100 miles of the Long Trail in 2020, and wrote about being fat shamed along the way.
