Please join us downstairs at the Village Meeting House (ground floor, Waitsfield church) this Sunday evening (1/23) from 6:30-8:00 pm to discuss the issue of racial justice and internalized, systemic racism.

These are hard questions in a hard season at a hard moment in our culture. All the more reason to come. At MRVARI (the Mad River Valley Anti-Racism Initiative), we believe that the act of coming together to explore hard questions, the simple process of conversing honestly and deeply with neighbors, is nothing short of revolutionary.

Please arrive with questions rather than answers, with openness and curiosity rather than certainty. Please be willing to experience some discomfort -- it's a sure sign of growth! All ages and viewpoints are welcome. You do not have to have come before to benefit from the discussion. We look forward to seeing you there.

Participants must be vaccinated and boosted, and must remain masked throughout the meeting.
