Hello, fellow bird-lovers – This Thursday evening (1/27) at 6:30, I'll be talking about The Birds and the Bees in Birdland, sponsored by Green Mountain Audubon Society. We'll see lots of beautiful photos of birds, learn how humans can tell male birds from female birds, and learn some surprising information about how the birds tell which is which. We'll also talk a bit about courtship and mating. Beginning birders, intermediate birders, and even long-time birders are sure to be fascinated! (I learned a lot preparing for the program.)
I've heard from several people who tried to watch a previous program but gave up. I hope the following instructions help. Pre-registration is a good idea. Click on the link at this site: https://www.greenmountainaudubon.org/events and then click on the green "Register" box, and follow the instructions for a few more steps. A ticket (free) will be sent to your e-mail address. If you've used Eventbrite before, sign in. If you haven't, you'll have to create an account with Eventbrite. (It's free too.) Sorry this isn't as easy as one-click-and-you're-there! I'm hoping that getting to see brilliantly colored birds on a frigid winter evening will make up for the inconvenience.
