About the authors:

Rebecca Starks is the author of Fetch, Muse and Time Is Always Now (both by Able Muse Press). Her poems and short fiction have appeared in Valparaiso Review, Ocean State Review, Crab Orchard Review, Tahoma Literary Review, Slice, and elsewhere. Past winner of Rattle's Neil Postman Award for Metaphor and Poetry Northwest's Richard Hugo Prize, she co-founded Mud Season Review and serves on the board of Sundog Poetry Center. She works as a freelance writing consultant and workshop leader and lives with her family and two adopted dogs in the woods of Richmond, Vermont.

Genevieve Plunkett is the author of Prepare Her (Catapult), and In the Lobby of the Dream Hotel (forthcoming, 2023). A winner of an O. Henry Award, her work can also be found in New England Review, Southern Review, Crazyhorse, Colorado Review, Electric Literature, and Literary Hub. She lives in Southern Vermont with her two children.
