Climate anxiety is on the rise. According to Dr. Stowe, Co‑Director of the Harvard Project on Climate Agreements and Executive Director of the Harvard Environmental Economics Program, that the most important impact we, as individuals, can have is by increasing "climate conversations". Let's talk about it!
Actually, we won't really talk about climate change. This informal gathering is non-political, non-judgmental, non-scary, and non-pushy! We are not scientists, environmentalists, or activists and that's ok. This webinar is for those who may experience climate anxiety (feeling overwhelmed or worried at the thought of the climate crisis), feel stuck, helpless, guilty, don't know where to start or don't believe that they can make a difference. That's ok too.
In fact that's normal, and will be our starting point. Once we accept our discomfort, learn tools to manage it, understand the science of what motivates us, have more clarity on what we truly care about and meet others who share the same interests, that's when things start happening.
My hope is that you'll leave this event ready to take a big breath of relief, that's it.
