On Tuesday, January 18 @ 11:00am Congressman Peter Welch and representatives from Senator Leahy and Senator Sanders offices will be hosting a press event in front of the Elmore Store to highlight the importance of institutions like the Elmore Post Office and the Elmore Store in rural communities like ours. Please join us at the event and show your support for the store and the post office. You may want to park at the church and walk over if the store looks a little crowded. Dress warmly as it may be another cold day!

Through the efforts of The Elmore Community Trust, our Congressional delegation and the enormous response from the Elmore community, the USPS has indicated that they are willing to negotiate a contract for continued services at the Elmore Post Office. This is welcome news!
