Brrr! Tomorrow's walk is going to be a cold one. It will still happen but we are adding a second walk date for a (hopefully) warmer day - next Sunday, Jan 23 at 10 AM.
Just to recap, naturalist Sophie Mazowita will lead a winter wildlife tracking walk at the Peter A. Krusch nature preserve. We'll search for tracks and sign that reveal the activities of our wild neighbors through the winter woods, discovering where to look and how to interpret wildlife sign. Based on feedback from attendees of the Cambridge Rec Board's Fall Tree Walk we have decided to limit the number of attendees to 15 adults (no cap on kids) and add a suggested donation of $5-$10 per adult.

You can learn more about Sophie's wildlife tracking experience, and what the walk will be like, by visiting her website www.trackingconnection.com. This is the Winter Nature Walk, the second in an ongoing series organized by the Cambridge Recreation Board.
