Land Council Workshop on Saturday

Past event
Jan 15, 2022, 3:15 to 4:45 PM

Satiate your yearning for meaningful connection by learning the ways of holding council in partnership with the land. Council is a practice of deeply listening to ourselves, the earth and each other. You will be guided in the primitive skills of accessing deeper levels of consciousness and communicating through the language of metaphor.

Land stewards value the insight gained from this process and allow it to inform land management decisions. Families holding council together strengthen their connection to one another by sharing and listening from their hearts. With these practices, even Nomads feel at home wherever they find themselves.

Community members of the North Branch and Winooski watersheds interested in spending more time outdoors with others are encouraged to join. This event is limited to 4 participants (18+) so we can fully immerse ourselves in the experience and allow spaciousness to honor each member's process. You will leave with embodied experience of being in council and guidance in how to hold council yourself. This workshop will be offered again, join when you feel called to do so.
